Children Of The Future

Children of this world
We have given them life
And we are to lead them.

To this world that is before them
They will have to fall
Yet we will be there to pick them up.

To try to show them the right way
They will grow from what we give them
The children are our future

We have to give this chance
To show what they have to give
Plus to give them the path to take.

But that is comes from the heart
Life isn't always going to give you what you want
You have to give to it and always try to help
For there are so many that need your touch.

Maybe just a shoulder to lean on
Or to listen to their words
This they will take and make their own lifes.

Sometimes it's hard to sit back and watch them fly
For they are apart of you
Yet, there is a time that we have to let them go.

To learn what they have been given
So children of our future
They will learn from their mistakes.

Yet we must give this space to grow
For without them there will be no future
Let them make this world.

A place that we all can live in
One that is left for them to carry on
So use this wisely and give it your all

Take your wings and fly
You are free now
Show the world what you have to give
Make it this world what you want
It's in your hands now.
